I'm trying to fix a 93 XLV for a friend the condition is no spark and I'm having a hard time finding spec's for testing the stator do you know what they are? Am I correct in thinking cdi cant be tested?

this for a 91: white/red to black=17 ohms
brown to black=1290 ohms.

No '93 XLV. Typo maybe. CDI can be tested but most likely is not the culprit. They dont go bad too often and when they do its usually not instant. My computer is being a piece of junk right now or I would tell you how to test the CDI.
hope you get your computer squared away. i am real interested in the cdi test. have my own conclusions but curious to your method.
The Damn thing wont open files. I'm working on getting it fixed.
