I'd like to change the butterflies to Roundslides anyone have suggestions on where to start with the mains, pilot's, needles ect... I have a set from my 540's with 290 Mj 35 Pj and 135 Power jets /1.5 Power air jet. B.T.W. The SRX ports were lightly(?) cleaned up by someone ! Thanks Chuck

I got an email from Jon (the guy who owns almost all the srx500's) dont know if you know who I'm refering to but he is very knowledgabe about the older srx's he says his mechanic recommends the 38s from the vmax 540 for the conversion can't help with the jetting but it looks like you have the right carbs . my 81 has round slids in it but it been bored to 68.5mm so mines probably jetted different than what you need !
