from the normal main jet that I usualy run how lower should I go ???till it go caboooom ...no try to be serious plzzz ..im running 160 accross:winterrul

you sure seem to like to play russion roulette with those engines......lol

what about just riding it when its cold out and ride your lawn tractor or something when its 40-50 degrees, maybe a 4 wheeler? snowmobiles are meant to ride on snow which freezing is 32 degrees, so 32 to zero would be the temp range, unless your crazy and ride below zero(I dont need to ride that bad for thats COLD).....All this jetting for warm weather will bite ya where it hurts when you ride it in normal COLD winter weather.

i can't run at all went the temp goes warm it buggg just like if u put the choke on lolll....this is why i like the russian roulette lolll

time to break out the riding mower then, wait for a cold day to ride....lol

woohoo wheel horse.........

If you are going to spend the money on the dail a jets why don't you spend it on some vari flos or an attac system? I think mm800 has an attac system for sale in the classifieds. You just use your stock jetting and it will automatically compensate for altitude and temperature change.
If you get vari flos you will have to adjust them manually but all that is involved with that is turning a dial. I have vari flos on my srx and mounted the dail in the dash as well as a parometer. Whenever my exhaust temp starts going below 1200F on my parometer I just click it one size leaner. I'ver changed about 3 jet sizes on some days when you start riding at about -10 in the morning and it gets to +6 to +8 in the afternoon. Takes care of that bog pretty good.

im not really into vari flos or attac system ....the fuel injection 2 stroke can't control so good the lean and ritch effect ..so im not into something that control himself in a non fuel injection sled ..i prefer to control it myself ...only have trouble went its close to 0 or to +5 ...went its gonna be below that ill run the normal setting

Thats exactly how my vari flos work mod, you can run your sled with your normal jetting just like you do not have the vari flos installed or if you turn the dial you can lean out the jetting. You control the jetting manually. I installed them on my sled because I wanted to take it to the mountains. But I also learned that they worked good for temperature change too.
With dial a jets if something happens to them and they stop working you will be running with leaner than normal jets, you can risk burning up. But with vari flos you have your normal jetting in and if they dont work there will be no damage, you will run too rich if anything

thnx sask ....I got a set of dial a jet on the way so will see how it goes ...the vari flow seem to be a nice things to run too hope it will not burn loll..atleast its a mechanical device not something that change the jetting alone

This is exactly what I would like, but Holtzman lists the Vari Flo as discontinued. I have heard people having lean burndowns with the Tempa Flos, from stopping for a few min then punching it. Is there any other options besides the Dial A Jet that are manual?

Yea, the attac system replaced the variflos. It adjusts your jetting automatically instead of you doing it manually. I bought a variflo off someone here last year, they come up once in a while but are harder to find. The attac works good too, it is an improvement over the variflos
