adding reverse to 99 phazer

Looking for the "gearing" experts to let me know what \i need to add reverse to my wife's 99 phazer

\i have a reverse chaincase cover and linkage from a 99 vamax, that | used for a temporary reverse setup on my SRX\

So basically I need to know what gears I need to change it to reverse.
Will I need the chain that goes with it?

should be a direct bolt on, gear dependant. your pz should have 21/39 stock. all the reverse kits seemed to use a 39t bottom(why i dont have reverse). depending on what you used for a top gear in your srx, just swap it for your stock pz gear. 68 link is the chain for 21/39 both on the pz and the reverse.

21/39 was the recommended gearing for the optional reverse for the pz and used on the very similar vt500.

Betheviper - now I have to check to be sure. Its a stock 99 phazer if that helps at all. Sleds are still in storage so I guess Ill have to get them out so I can look at the current gear/chain setup
