Does anyone know iff I can remove the sway bar on my srx it's only goin down the ice for radar runs will not see the trails just wanna know iff I can remove it

Really eh didn't think it would be that bad the sled is most key apart there is no motor or anything in it right now

i removed mine on my 2000 srx and it still handles just fine for me.
you could remove it but its not as heavy as you think, theres other places to take off weight that alot more beneficial.

their no skinny mini thats for sure. in tar form last summer, my 2000 srx scaled at 591 pounds. 3:16 (yammie tony)

If its not going to be a trail sled pull it now while the motor is out. You have had your motor ported and are setting up for racing but you will still need every possible advantage available to win. Don't cut corners if you want to win. Your going to have to be very fast to win in the 700 class!

Other then weight savings is there any other benefits to removal? I know its cars but the 1999-02 Camaro guys on ls1tech.com removed them for to help with weight transfer, Does the same principle apply to drag sleds?

No gains other than the weight loss. Riding the trails hard you would not want to be without it though!

Ya Dan I was thinking that seeing ad I'm only going strait lol I may as well take er off its only gonna see ice so seems like a plan thanx guys every ounce or pound counts
