Where's all the SRX/Viper vs the world stories?

Well, we have not ridden much at all this year. However on Jan 1 we are going North to ride with customers of ours. 5 Arctic Cat sno pro's. Curious how the older sleds will handle against the Cat's. I suspect our Yamy's will run just fine or even out manuvior in the two tracks we ride. We will see. Al

I got my *** handed to me by a new 1200 ski doo a couple days ago. almost twice as many cc's though. he got 115mph on a gps with it yesterday. sad but true

JEFF MY 2000 SRX WILL DIE ON TAR, I HAD SO MUCH FUN LAST SUMMER. MY 2002 SRX IS READY FOR PLAYING (field racing - snow draging). my 1995 vmax 800 going on ice. we shall see. 3:16 (yammie toyn)

I think the world has our numbers

you can only outrun modern technology for a short time..............but the srx and viper has extended that time frame for a good number of years, but the new stuff is just that. modern technology.... you wont be able to beat very easily!

lol, nothing lasts forever. But it's still fun to talk about. I'll tell you this. New Indy 600 was 3 tenths faster than any SRX at the grass drags I went to this year. Not saying they all run like that, the guy who owns it always has fast Poos. He has that one dialed in for sure.

For the SRX to be competitive it has to be running against other naturally aspirated sleds. There are to many new sleds with guys running boost!!! BOOST HAS CHANGED EVERYTHING! I have 7 sleds in the shop right now, the 2 strokes are fast, the boosted 4 strokes are insanely fast. If you haven't driven one try to get some seat time on one! Just be ready to want to upgrade.

My good friend has an 08 600ho SDI and is the one to beat in our group he is taking out F7's with this sled and will beat my SRX by 3 lenghts in 660ft the bad thing is I helped him set it up lol

At the snow drags around here, he pretty much mops up the 600 class and most of the time 700 stock

I have been working on my Apex so my SRX has been sitting and waiting for the head to head with my Apex.

At the end of last year my 2002 144" SRX was ahead, from start to finish, of all the sleds in our riding group across the 2 mile lake run we compete on...except....in the last bit an Apex slowly walked by me . I was doing 115mph on the Speedo

Is that what changed your mind on the 4 strokes Bob? I seem to recall you being dead set against getting one for a while.

I have wanted a sled with the 4 cylinder Apex engine for a while...but not its weight...
With the advent of the Yamaha/Cat partnership I don't see Yamaha bringing out a lighter 4 cylinder so I decided to do it myself.
