Was just thinking the same thing. Yikes! To each his own as far as I'm concerned, If you like the sled, that's all that matters. I've heard my fair share of "WHY did you buy a Yamaha?" WHY would you ever buy a triple? they're nothing but problems." I bought it because I liked the sled. Every maker has it's problems, if they didn't, there wouldn't be forums like this and all the others.
Sorry to hear about your SRX being stolen, that sucks. Enjoy your new sled. Just like my buddies will enjoy they're Ski Doo's, Polaris's and Arctic Cat's.
X3 or what ever on rough crowd. I think (or hope) every one was gently ribbing him with a grin that doesn't translate as we type. I ride with Poo's and Cats all the time. Honestly most of the time I am in a group of Yammies its usually the rest of my fleet with my girlfriend and my buddies riding one of my sleds because theirs is down (except my one cat buddy, he rides his wifes YAMAHA when his kitty is ill!) My only buddy with a doo (02 mach z 800 triple) is NEVER up and running when we ride but is ALWAYS talking smack about smoking me racing. How ever good or bad that sled treat you......Think YAMAHA when replacing it
You guys are right. It is great that you got back into sledding no matter what it is. I am curious as to how it holds up for you. Let us know. If you have great luck, tell us! And yes.... You will smoke all of us. Happy sledding.

Sorry to hear about your srx. Nice looking sled, what size track?
Are you clearing out any of your srx parts? I think I bought studs from you a few years back.

It was probably a good trade, based on how much I see SRX's and Mach Z's listed for sale for. Keep us updated

That looks really sweet !! I hope you like it. I had a 02 MXZ 700 before I stopped riding 10 years ago ( I just got my Viper last year ) and I really liked it. Other than Yamaha Ski Doo is the only other sled I'd buy.

Yeah. It was the only model I could find in my price range that could give me the arm stretch the SRX use to give me when I got on the flipper. 170hp stock should do it.

It's a shame Doo quite making them Machs, the last time there was a major sled show around here there was one in a steel grey colour and it was sharp.Unfortunately that was the same year they canceled production and that colour never saw snow;personally I prefer the older triple Machs but then again I'm biased to triples lol.

They quit making them because they don't hold together. No jabs intended at the OP. hopefully you get trouble free miles out of it. My machinist won't even work on them any more, because they can't be fixed and he doesn't want his name on them.

Several people on the message board have sleds with 12,000 miles plus. Others, with less than 2,000 miles went then POW. Depends on how you look after them. You would think after sinking $14,000 new, you would look after it. LOL. 170 hp on 2 cylinders needs to be looked after.
