Primary clutch spring removal tool for heelclicker springs

Does anybody on here sell a threaded rod tool for takeing the spider off for tuning heelclicker weights. I saw somebody makes and sells a tool but cant find that page anymore. I think it was srxspec? but? I just changed my weights and about killed myself with the red spring. I aint goin through that again! Got Cash
I should add I would like to do this on the machine without takin the clutch off.

I put mine on a pc of ply wood with threaded rod in it and screw it together With out it your bound to take out the cover bushing.
 
Here what I use, this is just threaded rod which is 12 inches long

You don't need it to thread into the the primary just as long as it fits inside the primary then put a washer over the spring cover and I use a 3/4 inch nut and box end wrench then loosen the the 10mm bolts on cap till they are all off, then take I take the 3/4 wrench and lossen the nut all the way off which is very easy to do it this way, then reverse the procedure back just watch for the bushing in the cap as they an exspensive little bugger ask me how I know about this LOL
 
Im not picturing it. What does the end thread in to? You dont have to take the primary bolt out?
 
You have to pull the primary off first alot easier to do on a table than on the sled

Do you have a clutch puller ?
 
I made one along time ago but I dont know what size the bolt was I had a fzr 1000 rear axle and it happed to be the same...
 
if not take your clutch bolt to a hardware store get them to match the bolt and threads and buy a washer big enough to go over clutch cap bushing then do it that way
 
I'm the stupid one I didn't realize you were trying to do this on the sled, especially with the heelclicker Red

alot easier to do off the sled
 
3G ya you are right. I had to compress the spring with a 1/2" rod, then put heavy duty cable ties on it to hold it then put it back on machine. Then I got some longer cover bolts and tightened them down to where the stock cover bolts would start then finished tightning them down. Like I said PITA. I think taking the whole clutch off like needsSRX stated is probly the way to go. Looks like I need to invest in a impact and puller.
