Advise on Jetting Needed for Piped 95 Vmax 600

I'm hoping to take my newly rebuilt 95 Vmax 600 with PSI duals out this weekend for its first test and tune. I'm a little concerned about my initial jetting though...

I've read every post on every forum pertaining to jetting with pipes and nobody really mentions the PSI's. I've even tried contacting Bruce at PSI to no avail.

My question is anybody running these pipes... or even another set of duals besides the GYT's?

I'm in Michigan at about 600' running a 50 pilot and a 160 main. 3/4 turn out on the fuel screw and needle set in the middle position.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Lot's of great info on this site... just not on Vmax 600's with PSI's... lmao

yep I ran psi's in my 94 600 ,great running sled with those pipes! You run the stock mains and drop the needles a half clip to maybe a full clip( from stock) everything else is stock! your gaS MILAGE WILL IMPROVE AND SO WILL THE FUN FACTOR! Oh and by the way pretty lookin sled you got there !

Thanks for the reply yammy! Got out for a couple hours on the lake today and it seemed to run good... but I babied it all day never really squeezing it past 3/4 throttle. Plugs were pretty black so I'm assuming it's a little fat but I can deal with that until it's broken in a little more.

Was your 94 reliable with the PSI's yammy? I've heard a lot of bad things about dual pipes on the 600 twins...

I never had a problem with those pipes, always ran great . They started to have problems when they ported those motors with pipes but youll be fine , enjoy!

I had a 94 vmax 600 with the twin psi pipes and never had a problem either..... Now I did have a problem with the pipe install as I did have to cut and reweld on the silencer...... also had to do some cut and reweld on the psi pipes for my 700sx too....... that one ran really good at 9200 RPMs for 7000miles before I sold it.
