Why did they run the heat grips through the cdi box?

So please help me understand. How did you hook them up differently? From new they are word in series correct? How have you run separately? Are they still controlled by the dial our did you just run a 12v source to test?

Mine get earn after 10 minutes of rising but never too hot. Always on high.

You put a very short Y connecter where then hook up.

Kinda like this but I don't cut wires. I used 6 bullet connectors. If it did not work I can just remove the Y connectror and hook it up stock.

Where it comes from stock. Take pad off and disconnect warmer wires then you will understand
