SRX 700 power inc pipes and muffler?

Hey I just bought what I'm told are power inc pipes and muffler from a buddy of mine. I bought them for 150 dollars and am new to pipes. I've tried searching and couldn't find much info on these. From what I've gathered they are end dumps with a 3-1 muffler and would like confirmation on them. And also if I installed them what else would I need.

I know I'll need to jet them and was told to remove the slips in my air box?

How much would it cost usually to jet these?

And do you guys know if I can install just the muffler on my sled without jetting? Wondering how it would sound

I would say yes to just the can no jetting. Should sound better then stock. I have a bender with no rejetting.
 
I just put the can on it and it sounds nice mid range. Only putted around the yard and she sounds stock idling. Do you think just the can adds any hp's or just sound?

I have read that the Power Inc is the only one that might add a little HP. I can not confirm that it does. Some of the other guys on here might be able to. Power Inc has gone out of business from what I had read or I would say look them up.
 
no gain on just the can. yes on weight savor. complete exhaust will add about 6 horse. great find though, especially for that money. 3:16 (yammie tony)
 
Hey Tony does it add 6hp the the crank or ground? Seems like it's not worth going through the trouble of re-jetting and gutting the air box for 6hp at the crank. Actually rode the sled a bit today and it seems to be the same sounding as with stock can. Only hear it wen I'm in between the houses to hit the trails. I wonder how much different it is from off the sled

Do you have the flanges that mount to the cylinders? Those pipe ends don't look like they'll fit the stock setup.
 
when those were dynoed on a stock srx back in those days, they did add hp, but needed to be hot. i think they were close to 150 on a dyno. just a tad better than stock, but very finicky. 3:16 (yammie tony)
