break in on new jug and piston question

I just got my sled up and running. I put a new jug and piston in. I pre mixed a tank of fuel. Just to make sure it is getting proper oil. I have feathered throttle. Any other things I should be doing?

I was told to do a couple heat cycles and drive it like you stole it.

I would not have pre mixed a tank, just don't use synthetic injection oil till you have some time on it..... I used klotz in my SX and when I rebuilt the top end Klots said not to use there oil till it was broke in.......

New or used? Used you can go right to synthetic if you want.
