Question on srx ignition.....

Im gettin a 99 srx 700, and it doesnt have a key. If its like a polaris or arctic cat, i shoul dbe able to just pull the plug on the ignition and it should start and run. Are the SRX's like that 2?

my 98 could be moved with the key switch unpluged but he warmers didnt work as i remember.
when it is out you can pry the back off and remove the tumbler so you can use a screw driver to turn it on and use the warmers.

see if a dealer can get you a key, or just replace it with a toggle for handwarmers, leave the ignition on, and use the kill switch

i dont know if 99 is the same but after 20000 the yamis wont start without the key switch hooked up

take the switch to a good locksmith - they can make you a key. We had to do that as we restored a "wrecked" sled, and it didn't have a key. Dropped the switch of at a locksmith, the next day had a set of keys for it.
