1989 exciter wont rev up!

working on a 1989 exciter it was sitting for a while. The first thing i did was freshen up the top end gaskets and one new piston it has 120 lbs on both cylinders. I have cleaned carbs and replaced fuel lines. Anyway this thing on a jackstand bogs teribly somtimes it revs higherthan others the tors wires have been cut I cant even find them. does anyone know where the tors wires attach to the main harness? I am thinking electrical or crank seals exhaust is wide open any help appreciated

I would check and clean the clutches 1st. might have some corrosion that is causing binding.

you can check the crank seals by spraying wd40, brake cleaner or starter fluid at the seals. if it gains rpm while spraying, the seals are toast. btw you test it running (half asleep atm lol).
