I titled this thread the way I did because my sled is a 98 but with 00 electronics on it.I noticed a something yesterday with the way it's been running at mid and above throttle and that is that the engine would lose one cylinder at those throttle inputs for some reason. At lower throttle it works fine,it starts and idles fine it's just the higher throttle opening.I'm thinking it's possibly the float level in one of the carbs because I don't know which cylinder is stumbling and if I remember right I have the floats set at 13.5 - 14mm now.
I will add that I'm not 100% sure it's fuel related,I mean could a spark plug act the same way? It's been a few seasons on the plugs I have in it and I've been meaning to give the old girl a new set.Plus the spark plug caps are certainly old enough that they may even be due for replacement but I'm not going to rule anything out just yet.I'd certainly entertain any and all opinions from you guys because I've had many a problem solved by the great minds on this forum.
