I have read numerous threads on my problem, but no one has ever offered up their solution. Seems that when it is fixed no one reposts.
Anyway I have an 84? Excell III that seems to be only running on one cylinder. Single carb and has been cleaned several times, compression in both cylinders is 110, all of the stator figures are within spec, new plugs (several), and new coil. I get a good strong spark out of the plugs when grounding to the head but when it goes in the cylinder it seems to die. After running it for a little while and pulling out the plugs one will have the nice coffee color I am looking for on the mage side but the other will be white like new and a little wet. Tried swapping the plug wires and running a new ground wire from the head to the frame on that side and that isn't working either.
I don't know what else to look for...
