hey guys i got three perfect srx heads for sale, i have to sell one set so i can offset the cost of new crank and cases putting o2 viper lower end into my 2000 srx. hope it works well with that comination

what advantage will you get with a viper bottom end? just curious, i never thought of that. thanks!!!

viper has a porkchop style crankshaft, it's alot lighter.

we actually tried that awhile back and there wasn't a noticeable dyno increase. sled did feel abit lighter tho, wasn't any faster down the track tho.

good luck with the project tho, hopefully you have different results than we did!

viper crank is 8.7 percent lighter than the srx. yamaha says the cranks are the same other than the pork chopped crank and the cases are the same 8dn part number. thay also state that they cannot be interchanged but i will find out next week when i get my lower end
