SMOKED A 2014 VIPER today

Yes, I agree with most on here, the only time I miss my SRX is on those nice flat groomed trails ! My vipers were a little better but did not have the SRX power and top end fun. I almost have bought a few old SRX's just to have but then always seemed to spend my money else wear. After being on my 3rd 4 holer( Now Apex LTX GT) the motor is awsome, (best sound on the snow)!reliable and sled rides so soft or hard depending on electronic shock position( Handlebar adjustment) and pulls low end and top end as well or better than an SRX. Yamaha really made a mistake in naming the kids sled an SRX..... really? The renamed Viper doesn't bother me near as much, atleast it is a real sled? I have yet to loose across a lake to any stocker so I am overall happy with my Apex! I will own some old iron again I am sure...
 
It's just like clutching a sled. Where do you do 90% of your riding? Whooped out trails or lakes and rivers. Pick your poison fellas. I would love a new Viper for the Sunday ride when the trails are beat. But Thursday night and Friday morning after the groomer has been out, ooooo doggy I love my SRX!!!!!!
 
I have ben wanting a 4 stroker for most of this season. Thought long and hard about the 12K 2014-15 Viper. Decided when I pull the trigger it will be on a pair of 6K sleds. I have read about these "whooped Michigan trails" and invite each and every one of you to ride Jordan Valleys trails (especially near Mancelona) I have ben grooming them 2-3 times per week myself and there is 5 other guys grooming in our Red Head (Pisten Bully) crew! I see the new Vipers ALL OF THE TIME! I see a fair amount of SRX/Old Vipers to though, today I am sure the one guy riding a 98 SRX thought I was a little weird pointing at him giving him the thumbs up! Then I ran into a fellow TY'er at Settings restaurant.
