Eng swap.... Help

Hey troops. My 2000 sxr blew a crank bearing on the clutch side. I WILL build this motor. In the meen time I can pick up a 99 sxr 700 motor. What do I need to make this work in my 2000? Thx for ur time guys.

Nothing drop in and your good to go. Just make sure to bleed oil pump or u will need two cranks

Than-Q bud. The reason i ask is i hear the wires for the stator are not the same plugs

From 99-00 they should be the same, none of the red heads went to the hotter stator until 01 as far as I know.

If your sled has 2 bulbs for the headlight then you have a 300w stator, if you only have 1 bulb then its a 175w and you should be good to go!
