how many lbs of compression does it have?
the only thing you can do is to cut the heads and remachine the squish if the cmpression is low. you should have around 125-130psi for good power/trail use

What year jetting do u recommend and what year airbox ,insert do I use, have 2001 now

I would start off with the 2001 jetting but would likely use the 42.5 pilot jets. You can check your piston wash and plug color and set up the jetting to the engines requirments.
thats fine to use the 2001 airbox with the shelf still in it.
got to do a plug check alitle wet and black, my jetting is 150pto 148.8 center and mag, 42.5 pilots at 1 5/8 turn. was thinking of switching pto and mag around like earlier post said they did. going to buy a compression tester this weekend
