My 2000 Mountain Max (SLP triples and 156") vs. a carbed 600 2012 Summit 146". We ran a few, and I'm guessing it was somewhere between 700-800'. I lost 2 back to back, not bad, but around 2 sled lengths each time. Fully geared I'm pushing 300 lbs, the guy I was up against was maybe 200. So, to make things equal, I put a 200 lb 15 year old kid on my sled. 2 more races and both were 4 sled lengths in old blue's favor. Gotta get on a diet. I took the summit for a ride, and was impressed. Smooth...lightweight.

Look at your clutch set up. I weigh 195 pounds and I have no problems against summit e-tech 600s. Yes, I am heavier than the others.

My clutching is just fine. It's my fat A$$ that needs work. As I stated, when I put another person (kid) on my sled the same weight as the guy on the summit, there was no problem, came out 4 sled lengths ahead of the summit.
