Thinking about parting out a 97 700sx and a 98 500 xtc. Just wondering what some of you guys have been making money wise on a part out. Its sad but the sleds aren't worth much whole anymore. Basically is it worth it after shipping hastle and such?

Not worth the effort IMO, unless they have some nice parts on them. You may get more in the end but is it worth the labor? Do you have room to store the parts that don't sell right away?

Engine parts might sell fast but you'll probably be sitting on the other stuff for a while. I'd wait till fall to sell them to get the best price, sleds don't go for much this time of year.

X2 on the above as well as to sell them here you either have to do the "free 7 day classified" forum or upgrade to VIP, $15 per year to run in the classified section. Common parts and interchangeable parts usually sell pretty quick and then 60-70% of sled sits there. Probably less headache to get what you can get and be done with it as a whole unit.
