Wondering how to remove the metal grills for the hood of my VMax SX

I want to remove them to sandblast and paint them, Not sure how they are held into place, any help would be highly appreciated , thanks

When I did mine they had rivets holding them. Not sure if that's how they came from factory. I just drilled them out and replaced them with very small bolts.

Riveted it, drill them out to remove. If you have snow injestion problems you can put fine mesh screen over them before you put them back in. Don't use metal though as it will freeze snow to it.

When I paint mine I just mask the area off and paint, but if you have lots of rust and need to blast them they'll have to come off.

Thanks, I Thought that I would have to remove them, I will use small bolts also I guess

when I removed mine to paint,I used zip ties to hang them back on..very simple and quick.
