they are expensive because yamaha ones are graphite impregnated and they slide alot nicer on the helix then the cheap plastic ones from various places. it worth the extra money as they last along time. when you use the cheap ones from dennis kirk and places the clutch wont shift the same.

yes get the OEM ones.I have tried the plastic cheapies and they like wear down after a few rides..lol

This I did not know. I actually have never had to replace them on a yamaha. OEM it is then.

Shoot.....the last ramps I replaced was on the kids Spitfire.
