Literally.I replaced the old wore out pads on both my SRX's with an aftermarket set trying to save a few bucks vs the oem pads and I gotta say that I don't know what the exact material is in these pads but whenever I grab a handful of brakes to slow the sled down from high speeds there is a really strong smell.I've smelled burning brake pads before on cars or trucks but man the smell given off by these is something else.I forget the brand of the pads,they were like $25 a pair where the oem ones were somewhere in the neighborhood of $40.Has anyone else experienced this from aftermarket brake pads?
