Looking for some suggestions. I own an 04 Venture 600 it's a great cruiser but when it comes to deep and fluffy it's like the Titanic. I just can't seem to get on top.
There is a 1" camoplst cone track on it and it sort of feels like a bannana peel. If I stab the happy flap anywhere on the reasonable speed scale she blows out the track and slides around like a rear wheel drive car. It's kind of fun but I would really like it to drop her rear and haul. This machine also gets stuck very easy and everytime I ruin a belt (4 in 600 k) and it happens very easily. I have been contemplating a 1.25" ripsaw, transfer rods, better flotation skis (as long as they don't affect trail performance) and some cutch work.I would like to know where a good starting point for me would be? I'm pretty new to the snowmobile world so any help would be greatly appreciated.
