I need a little help. Are all years of SXR jugs interchangeable? I have been chasing a problem around on my 2001 mountain max. turned out I broke a skirt on a piston. Anyway I need to replace a cylinder/piston. I bought another one from a TY member. It looks great, but it is marked differently. The cylinder has a C marked on the bottom skirt of the jug, and a Y-2 embossed on the side. My existing cylinders have B, and Y-1 on the cylinder. Should I be concerned? Or do they all fit if they have not been ported? Thanks

Don't quote me on this but I'm pretty sure all red heads of the same displacement are interchangeable. Could be wrong though, some one else will chime in to prove or disprove my theory lol
