AFR guage

Does anyone see a problem in running this air/fuel ratio guage on a 600 twin with no e-start/battery? One O2 sensor in each side of the Y pipe.

you need a power supply for that one to work from what I have seen. you could use rockstoy's power supply from your headlamp as it has 2 rca's for heated shield that has stable 12v dc. used one similar to that on my xt to tune the carb and we had to run it from battery.

Do all of them need power or are there any mechanical ones than don't require power. Except for illumination.

you can do it with the battery method, I just do not know how long it will last in the cold.

Do ya think I really need a 2 channel or would 1 o2 sensor be fine?

you could get away with one but 2 might be safer. all depends on how the airflow works. most twins are jetted the same for both cylinders in my experience.
