promo videos can be downloaded to you tube with a VHS converter
How do you pull the CD info to Youtube... is that pretty straight forward? This looks like a project for next summer.

The capture card should have a program for recording to the PCs. The capture card should just have a input and output, input should be universal for AV,coaxial etc. and then have a USB for output, or if you have a PVR, you could record that, burn it to a disk and rip it to the computer, and put it on YouTube.

I just ordered a converter so I will get the videos uploaded to you tube probably this weekend. I also have a bunch of old ski doo videos from the late 80's to early 90's that I collected when I was a kid, I might throw them on there too.
What did you go with, usb style or card style converter?

Well...I bought the unit and downloaded it to the computer. It took up a ton of space on my computer and slowed it way way down to the point where it didn't even work right anymore. I tried to uninstall the program but it would not let me for some reason so I had to take it in to the computer shop and pay to have it removed. I ended up sending it back for a refund so it looks like I won't be able to get them up on you tube anytime soon. I'm going to ask around town to see if anyone could do it for me.

Yeah it sucks going without a computer for a few days, I couldn't get on TY, I think I was having withdrawls! lol I think it would have been ok if my computer had more memory.
If anyone has the 00 or 02 or both, please sell or lend me the tapes, I'll get it uploaded on youtube, like I did with the 98, 99 and 01. I have the equipment and what it takes to do it. Thanks.

tried to... couldnt find it... I almost know im not crazy so i dont know what happened to it. It was in my favourites list which i now notice has a load of blank spots.
