I had asked that question a couple years back. There's a post about it. I think Valin had gave me the specs.

valin and slideshowbob had it. viper box has lots of advance, and won,t work on a 2000. 3:16 (yammie tony)

I think it was 17 degrees at 8500 vs 9 or 10 degrees at 8500 with stock box

Thanks guys. Does it hold 13 degrees above 9000. Reason I am asking one sled we just had ported and high rpm pipes put on and it hits 9200 rpm and falls flat on its face. So are trying to find out what's going on with it.

Viper CDI drops to 11 degrees at 9250 but I don't know what it does beyond that.
Some guys in the past have locked open the SRX exhaust valves and run the 700 SX CDI...it holds a steady 18 degrees above 7000rpm
The original REAL SRX race CDIs held 11 degrees beyond 8250
