Ok decided to get a build thread going on my project. This started in February and is on going.

I bought it as a mountain mod: 700 bender porting, bender pipes, ekholm tunnel, ekholm 151 skid, egts, team tss98, light weight clear hood, mpi light weight trailing arms, aluminum control arms, boss seat, & 50hp shot of NOS. Others that I can't remember I'm sure.

I also picked up a red one for parts. That had a pro xr skid, iq dragon seat, blown hauck 900 motor, aluminum control arms, pro xr running boards & pro xr cooler.

Went out on my maiden voyage after stealing the jetting and clutching from the 900 so I had something for low altitude. Track was ratcheting bad, went to tighten the track and adjustment was maxed. Pulled the skid and found it was bent up pretty bad. Had a ride planned for a week away so decided to swap the motor into the red short track.

Also installed 8 tooth antiratchet drivers to fit a 1.75 back country track and put on the mountain skis. After a little tweaking on the jetting I was feeling pretty good about the ride.

Track rubs the pro xr cooler, jetting was a bit rich, clutching needs improvements, and just some general tweaking is needed.

Since I had no use for the mountain mod I parted it out.

Now I'm in the process off doing more changes. Bought a blue painted hood with ghost flames, skulls, & screaming faces. Putting on a lower profile U cooler. Installing a heel clicker primary. Installing the boss seat, mpi trailing arms, fox floats, primer, atacc, egts, coolant temp, and general tweaking.

Been awhile on this, but here's an update.

Seen my head was leaking a little coolant so got all new o-rings for that. Decided while I had the head off to go ahead and do a top end. Putting in all new drive bearings. Made support brackets for the skid mounting holes, seen the aluminum was starting to tear. Got an extended tunnel cap to fit the boss seat correctly. Removed the sway bar. Got the Fox Float Evol R mounted up. Still have a lot of work to go but I'm getting closer! Looking forward to dialing this beast in this winter.

Looks good! How come you drilled into the carbs? I'm guessing the part in the airbox has something to do with it as well...

I drilled into the carbs for the primer fittings. No more 30min pull sessions for 1st start or really cold days. Did have to drill the carb top cover for the ATACC install.

I always pulled plugs and dropped a lil gas in each cylinder. Works every time.
