Hi, I am new to this site...

I was wondering if any other fellow snowmobilers could tell me what are the loudest pipes you can get for a 2002 Yamaha viper?

Hauck growler race pipes with silencers are REALLY obnoxious.

On an srx anyway...my viper has slps and they are way quieter. Nice sound to them without pissing off the trail cops. However Just loud enough the guy Infront of you will hear you nipping his ***!!

will the Huck growlers fit on a 2002 Yamaha sx viper? would sxr pipes work on an sx? I've never owned a Yamaha sled before, so just wondering

Stick with pipes intended for your viper. There are some threads on this forum explaining SRX triple pipe instal in the viper if that's a possibility for you. SLP pipes are the pipes to get for the viper in my opinion. Otherwise I have a set of speedwerx triple pipes for a viper if you are interested you can pm me.

there is a set of SLP triples already on it. just looking for something fairly loud. how do the speedwerx triples sound?

I have bender triples on my viper and they are pretty loud. Here is what they sound like. Did this video 4 years ago when I first got my pipes. I know hauck triple pipes are louder yet or you could go with a mbrp race can is the loudest can you can buy.

Check the Hauck website...the growlers are a silencer and the viper pipes are called "husher pipes" SRX hood won't fit a viper...maybe you could keep your slp pipes and put Hauck silencers on it. The silencer may require you to drill some holes in the belly pan

jaws pipes. just about everything they make is loud. If I were you Id just make (or get made) a silencer to work with the slp pipes which would save you a tonne of money. The slps are good pipes and im assuming the sled is already setup for them.

i have aaen pipes on my sled and my brother has cpr pipes on his. My pipes are extremely loud in low rpms, i am referring to the pipes them selves- you can really hear the ping in the expansion chamber. The cpr pipes are louder out of the exhaust pipe, they scream and sound awesome!
