Loud pipes for a viper?

Talked to the guy I got the speedwerx pipes from and he said not that loud
 

You're not gonna get much louder that directly running out of the y pipe or out if the cylinder for that matter. Just rejet correctly.

Go to canadian tire and get a small glasspack muffler ($40). Bring it to an exhaust shop or any shop that will do it and get a silencer made to fit the pipes. Should cost you under $200 and sound good.

that's actually a good idea.. did you do this on your sled?

tell me if you think this would work, couldn't you buy triples for it then buy the growlers, and then modify the growlers to fit? that's what I was thinking about doing.. but I don't know if it would work or not... anybody know if it would? when I say modify, I mean remove the weld, then rotate or move whatever an exhaust port then re-weld it?

To a buddys venture 600 single pipe. Sounded nearly identical to a snowstuff. All silencers are is a tube with holes covered in packing... Dont see the point in cashing out the money for another set of pipes and end up modifying it anyways.

Im same as you. Everything i own is loud ahaha.
 
Yes we could modify the growler...but you would be wasting a set of 800$ pipes. If you Buy a growler we can make it work. however, if you want it loud just I would put stingers/silencers on it. devinzz1 has got the right idea. Candian tire sells thrush glass packs for 40-50$. Or we could custom make a silencer. It's up to you to decide what you want. I would make three stingers for the slp pipes. Or a three Into one with the glass pack that's a great cheap idea.
 
300 for the pipes plus shipping that includes jets if you want

the growlers are only $299.95.. how would i be ruining a set of pipes? i might just go with the thrush glass pack. i'd like to hear it first...
 
Sorry all I ment was to stick with slp pipes instead of buying different ones.
 
i am pretty sre they didnt not make pipes for sx vipers. Only hauck/cpr (simmons), aaen, bender, slp, speedwerx, jaws and thats about it
