Srx compression all over the place. Please help

Just recently tore down my 98 srx 700. Before the tear-down compression was 125psi across the board. Since rebuilding, the compression is 120, 140, and 0psi?!?! Wtf?

What I did:

1.) plane heads 0.020"
2.) mild port job
3.) installed new rings
4.)cleaned power valves
5.)all new top end gaskets
6.)bolted everything back together

The zero is wrecking my brain, I cannot understand this.
 
afew things. re torque everything, make sure to spec. also try different gauge. thats for starters. the one thats zero needs to come apart and make sure rings are installed correctly. 3:16 (yammie tony)
 
Yeah that 0 is a slight problem.... Did your forget to put the rings in that cyl?! Lol. Maybe the head gasket moved before you torqued it Down. Start with the simple things, to have 0 compression, i135psi worth of air is going some where and should be easily located. As for the others, they may even out once the rings seat.

Put your thumb over the plug hole of the cylinder that showed 0 compression and if you feel good pressure then the gauge is screwy but if there's no or little compression pushing against your thumb them I'd say your rings are either installed wrong or they moved when you put the cylinder on.I've never had this happen so I'm only speculating as to what might be wrong,but I'd be willing to bet it's got something to do with the rings.
 
All rings are 100% installed. I went back out last night after hours of not sleeping and decided to pull the head on the cylinder with no compression. The smaller of the two o-rings some how ended up out in the chamber and was pinched in several places. So I'm hoping that's the problem ("if it walks, looks, and sounds like a duck. It's a duck"). Lol.

Had to order the o-ring so. Should be in Monday. Hope to see 140.
