I want my sled to just lift the skis all day! Any suggestions on how I can do this? I'm not worried about losing top end. What clutching and gearing should i use?
Thanks,
Thanks,
^^^pulled apart a front shock doin that.
Take the transfer rods off and replace with a strap
1 7/8" snocross track. Removing the rods will uncouple the skid completely. Mpi used to make a kit for about $50 which was just a strap and a couple spacers for where the rods used to be. NOTE: i havent done this and its really meant for the long track guys but it should wheelie theres no doubt about that.
Monoshock and some extra powerhttp://youtu.be/yHgjkDMuLmw
^^^ when he says "some" he means a big bore bult motor and pipes.
And I know man, That viper hes got is nuts, I've watched his videos hundreds of times!
Where could i find a mono? I've looked everywhere!
Haha its even better with 1000cchttp://youtu.be/FCpLWLEXo7U
Sled scrap yards or from people parting out sleds. More popular skids to swap are doo scIII (and new) and polaris edge skids (what i have)
So if I throw another skid in... I would have to move mounting brackets... Is that pretty much it?
