i have my 85 carbs torn apart trying to find out if the jets are stock or not does anybody have a diagram or exploded view of the carbs that show what and where each jet is? in the tech section i seen the float is supposed to be 12mm + or - 1, where do i measure from? and do i measure when its right side up or upsidedown?
also i bought a used motor from a guy on a local buy n sell site with the carbs (this motor was from a 1992). when i picked it up he had phazer and exciter parts everywhere (he didnt have a clue what was what) on the top of the carbs from my phazer there is two stamps on the throttle side is 80L and on the opposite is 8VO 02, and on the carbs that came with the used motor is 80L and 8vO 03. what do those me

You can go to any of the Yamaha parts houses to find exploded of the carbs, or the whole sled for that matter - http://www.yamahapartsnation.com/oemparts/a/yam/5003b446f8700212fc83db42/carburetor. I have a Phazer manual on Google drive you can download if you like, it's for a 90+ but not that much changed - https://drive.google.com/#my-drive.
