97 vmax 500 no lights

my buddy has a 97 vmax 500 that has absolutly no lights that work on it. anyone ever have this problem, help would be greatly appriciated

voltage regulator most likely went and it poped the bulbs.

Follow the wire harness under the motor and look for the wires that have rubbed thru and shorted it out.
