I've got a 97 sx 700, my idler arm bushings are getting warn, instead of replacing them I was thinking of using the 98 on up idler arm that has the roller bearings instead of the bushing. does anyone know if the newer vmax or srx idler arm would work on the 97? I have 2 good used idler arms here from a 2000 srx that I could use.
are you referring to the trailing arms?

idler arm for the steering, tie rods hook up to it.
bolt it on and go. no difference other than the bearings and the ability to add grease. just dont forget to align the front end when your done.

Cool, the newer one with the bearings should hold up better than the old one with busings. thanks!
