tuning a multi angle helix?

I got a second hand 8FA00 helix for short money to try out. How do you tune them? I know the 51 degree will up shift fast and the 43 degree will back shift fast under load, which is what I think I want for a mountain sled. How do you wrap angles effect it being multi angle? I have red, green and silver springs to play with.

I have one of those on my 98 700 and all I did was put it on using Turks setup. I love the way it runs.
