I ride a 04 mtn viper and have the chance to buy a 08 apex mtx with 700 miles. Would it be much of an upgrade? Its the 40th anniversary with fox shocks. I know the 4 stroke will be heavier, but will the torque and dependability be worth it? I think I can sell my viper for 1800 and I can buy the Apex for 3200.
I went from an srx that was set up as a 144 crossover sled (similar to a mtn viper) to a turbo apex. I couldn't imagine going back. My wife rode an apex for a few years and preferred that to her mountain max most of the time. The four stroke is different to ride but once I got the hang of it I prefer it to my old 2 strokes. My two cents.

I told him I'd take it so if you have any advise for a stock apex mtx I would appreciate it.
