14" track on a 15" sled

Has anyone put a 14" track on a 15" sled say like off a Phazer?

Guys do it all the time. 14" track is 1/2" narrower on each side, otherwise the same. Most sleds don't need that 1/2" to keep the skid on the track.

I was just concerned about the rear wheels, If there would be enough track for them to ride on. I also have an 07 Phazer streached to 136 with a cut down 15" track, Friend has a Phazer track that I might try on the SXR.

If it was too close, I would just do a 2 wheel conversion to it. Pretty simple mod to do.

It will be fine. Align the track correctly and it will be a-ok.
