My 99 srx, has a 51/43 helix from a rx-1, it pulls great in the mid range, but here is my problem. It wants to spool out 9100 rpms, so therefore I have no top end, it tops out at 185 kmh, and I know that if I could get the motor to run at 8500 rpms, I could get more top end. WHAT SHOULD I DO!!!!!!!!!? :yam:

what rivet is in the tip I would dfinatley put a bigger rivet in the tip to bring your rpm's down

Add weight to the tips of the weights to bring the rpms down to 8500. 1 gram = 100-200 rpms. This should also give you better top end.

Weights

Ordered 8bu-00 weights and 4.5 & 2.5 gram rivets for the base and tip respectfully. Would like to here from someone running this set up,and if I need to change any springs in either clutch? :yam:
