SRX 144 gearing

My sled is geared down with the sprocket to 8 tooth. I cant remember what weight I have in the primary, but is vmax 4 weighs.... but it revs well over 8500... I would like to gear down but I don't know what sprockets I should get or were I should get them....

Any one can recommend a gear setup?

Your at 1.86:1 right now with the 8 tooth drivers. With 9 tooth drivers you were at 1.65 : 1
I leave it right there unless you have plenty at room to let her gallop.

Depends on what you do with it. I trail rode, boondocked, and mountain climbed on my 144 srx. I think I had that geared at 21/42 with 8's. It pulled like a train and would still run 90 on the lakes.

I'm not at all a top end guy. So for me if I changed any gearing, I'd put a 40 on. That would put you at 1.96 : 1

if you want it to go faster and (mostly) correct the gear ratio from the 8 tooth drivers, put a 24 tooth on top
