Back to stock jetting for the viper question

Did you try bypassing tors? Just unplug the wires by the idle adjustment then plug them back into themselves making a loop. If trouble goes away you have tors issue.

Most likely your throttle cable is to tight. But could have a bad switch at the carb or the throttle. Did it work prior to removing the carbs? It's pretty simple system. My friends throttle was not pivoting smoothly. If you look at the throttle block as you push you notice it pivots that pivot makes a connection and it must be made before the one on the carb opens.

OK still major issues. 156.3 mains. 47.5 pilots. Fuel screw at 2 turns c clip at #4 and both spacers on top. Lots of slack and throttle switch working. I even looped the tors system. Massive bog to the point it almost dies and I have a hanging ideal. I sprayed around the carbs and PTO to see if I had a air leak and nothing. I pulled the carbs a part a cleaned everything.
Please help

its likely drowning at idle because you have bigger pilots and the fuel screws are at 2 turns out, so if your not gonna use the stock 45 pilots, then turn the fuel screws back to 1.25 turns out. Leave everything else the same and you should be good to go.

I am now at 1.25 turns out and I still have a small bog. I need to feather it off ideal to get it moving. Once I do its ok. I ordered some 45 pilots should have them tomorrow.

Thanks for the help guys!!!!
I have it set up to do a 60 mile round trip with my son this weekend on the viper with me. I am really looking forward to taking him out. I have never seen a little boy so obsessed with snowmobiles other then me :)

you have some other issue if its still not running right.

So I'm still messing with it. Now I'm lean. Thing will ideal up to clutch engagement then back down and die. I found my oil cable was at 23mm. Now back to 20.5mm. I'm stumped. Thing was spot on before pulling the pipes off. Oh and plugs are gray.

1.75 turns out. 47.5 pilots. Adjusted oil cable and new tors just a touch on the lean side.but it is now ridable
