Vmax 600 carb sizes/ dial a jet

Does the 96+ Vmax 600 have smaller carbs than the 94-95? Read somewhere they did, just wanted to confirm- different part #s at least.... anyone try dial a jet on the 600 twin? fuel mpg is very important to me... wish was able to fit a tour buddy on this machine

94-96 vmax 600 carbs are all 38 mm. The 500 I believe has 36 mm carbs.

don't know how I could forget tempa flow..probably the best option.. wonder why the 96 600 has a different part # then? even the 97+ has 38s?
