Hey fellas, I accidentally snipped my right hand warmer wire while trimming grip for handlebar hooks. Looks like yamaha stopped making grips for SRX. I have a 98 SRX, single headlight, does anyone know of a replacement that will plug in instead of buying a whole aftermarket kit? Thanks

Can you re-solder the wire, or is it too close from the handle? I also cut my wire when installing powermadd hooks, but was able to fix it.
I don't think you'll be able to find a new grip from Yamaha (been there). I did have good luck buying used grips in good shape.
I don't know if aftermarket grips will have the same resistance as original.

The newer grips from the 300 watr systems do ohm out different then the old style but have run them on the older ignition system of the older sleds for a while now with no problems. Bonus they get hotter. I have run the viper grips on 97 sx's and a 98xt.
