Extreme max racing studs

I'm putting 144 down the middle of my sled this weekend. A friend has them on his Doo & likes them. Two year replacement warranty against bending or breaking, stainless & fairly cheap. I hope they work.

i have the 1.40 in my ripsaw and bent 7 of them in 550 miles. i did ride over a lot of logs on some trails. im sure thats what did it. im glad they bent, i would rather replace a couple studs than tear the track.
 
The 1.40" used in the 1.25" WILL bend. The tracks I have done with them need about 6-12 studs replaced after a season. They did drop the warranty to one year on the 1.40 and longer studs unless you run there special Nut with the extra support. ===SRXSRULE===
 
are they more likely to tear with the longer nut? i dont care about replacing a few a year, i just dont want tearouts.
 
I dont use the long nuts....they raise the price alot. I'm with you......I'f I have to replace 12 at the end of the season.....big deal. Never had one pull through yet on the sleds I have done (aprox 15) ===SRXSRULE===
 
I have had one Extreme Max stud pull through, and I attribute that to drilling the hole too close to the edge of the track. Other than that, they have been great studs, especially for the price!
 
I installed 96 Extreme Max 1.15 studs with 96 Stud Boy 1.187 PowerPoints on my Vmax-4 last year. I've gone over 1000 trail miles with them. Don't have any bent or broken studs, none have pulled through. I paid $100 for 96 Extreme Max studs, nuts, and backer plates. Paid $125 for the Stud Boys and nuts, no backer plates. I'm very happy with the Extreme Max.
