SRX no spark problem after stator replaced

Hi guys I'm new to this forum and am looking for some help with my SRX. I have a 2001 SRX and am getting no spark. I've been pulling my hair out trying to trouble shoot it. I just recently replaced the stator after ohming out the ignition switch, throttle switch, kill switch, and ignition coils, which all tested out fine. I also tested the cdi box by hooking it up to my other SRX that runs. The box tested fine. Long story short after replacing the stator I had a good strong spark so I put it all back together, put some gas in the heads and pulled the sled over. It fired up for a couple seconds until the gas in the cylinders burnt up I'm guessing. I pulled the plugs again to repeat that process and I now have no spark again. Short of tracing every wire for a possible short somewhere I'm all out of ideas. Any advice or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
 
was this a yamaha stator you put in it? has the wiring harness under the engine ever been repaired?
 
Yes I have power coming out of the stator. Its a brand new stator from Yamaha. Haven't looked into the wiring harness under the engine. Will look into that. Thanks!

Just had that same issue and it was the wiring harness that plugs into the CDI....it rubbed through by the LH foot well...might want to check that.
