Studs are hittin on something

I finally got the srx running nice, but when i crack it and weight transfers, the studs hit on the tunnel. I think its the tunnel anyways, theres 2 things right above the track clips that look like sliders, but the studs dont seem to have anything above the studsto protect it from the tunnel. The radar run is saturday, so i need a quick fix!! thanks

Sounds like tunnell protectors too me and you may want to see if your studs are not too long!!

I know this may sound stupid but are you sure it isn't track ratcheting that you are hearing???

If your studs are hitting something, it shouldnt be too hard for you to find out what they are hitting.

no, its the studs hitting something.

If they were hitting the tunnel youd see it. Also check your front heat exchanger and make sure it has protectors also the rear one! Take a look under there and check it out.

you should see marks where the studs are hitting. If you cant see any stud marks on the tunnel or front heat exchanger then it is ratcheting.
