well its your gearing, your geared way lower so the engine is not loaded as much so it over revs. easiest fix if thats the gearing your gonna continue to use is to add a washer to the tip rivets making it 5.5 grams in each tip.
We'll I want to gear it best for 600 ft for next weekend snow drags what gear ratio do u recommend ? I ran 21 40 last year with this set up and rocked out of the whole and most of the track but didn't have the pull after half track and that was only a 500 ft track
My sled is deffinatly twice the sled with this set up I got from u mr viper !

snow drags are alot differnt then ice drags, youd get LESS traction with that gearing, you need to gear it up some to about 22/38 on snow, your rpm will also come down. The reason it didnt pull after a ways down is you completely shifted out way ahead of time because the engine sees less load with that gearing and it runs out of motor.
The traction on snow is no where near what it is on ice and grass so you have to gear taller so you spin the track less and move forward shifting the clutch along the way, if you just shift it immediately you have nothing to pull you on topend, its already in high gear and loaded from the snow, so you go slower.

makes total sence thanks i will change my gearing and and make sure my rpms are spot on !
I have 22 teath gears 21 and 23 and for bottoms I have 40 and 39, since I don't have a 38 would 23 39 work the same ?

23/39=1.70 ratio, 22/38=1.73 ratio....pretty close it should work for ya. Check your clutching after you go to that gear set up.
that gearing dropped my rpms to about 8400 and it defiantly pulls harder longer!!! i just called the dealer and ordered fresh white primary and green secondary springs i will clean my clutches up and hopefully it works even better i appreciate all the tips u have gave me! should i still try and drop that rpm to 8300?

put the secondary at 60 degrees and see if it will hold the belt on take off ,if it will not only will it go faster it will drop the rpm down slightly, your only talking 50rpm to be spot on, I wouldt sweat that too much.
you dont tune rpm with sec clutch but we are talking about a super small amount.
